True to its original proposal to be a space for social analysis and political culture with a critical playful and ironic perspective the current edition of El Machete participates in the revision of the legacy of communism as a political ideology a little over 25 years of the fall of the socialist bloc but it also joins the discussion of current issues such as the present and future role of the left in Mexico and Latin America as well as the impact of new technologies as tools that make possible a post-capitalist revolution.
