These teacher's notes accompany The Emperor's New Clothes, a Series One title in the Usborne Young Reading series. This series has been developed in consultation with Alison Kelly, Senior Lecturer in Education and reading specialist at Roehampton University, who is also the co-author of these notes. The notes have been specially written to help you to get the most out of The Emperor's New Clothes in guided reading sessions, with ideas and guidance to make the sessions as enjoyable and productive as possible. They include a photocopiable assessment grid and suggestions for futher reading, both guided and independent.
