After Alberto Laiseca's death on December 22, 2016, a group of attendees from his legendary literary workshops set out to write this unusual biography, under the affectionate nickname of Chanchín that the Master used to refer to his disciples indiscriminately. Almada, Millán Pastori, Naveira, Pandolfelli and Rodríguez Simón recovered experiences, anecdotes and testimonies, reviewed mountains of originals, and interviewed public and unknown figures. Magician and monster, oriental writer, media figure, soldier, operator, day laborer, lonely child... The versions of Laiseca merge in the spectral curtain of the smoke of his cigarette. And they transcend: this magnetic choral story reflects, intact, the Master's ability to make Argentine literature uncomfortable.
