The Manuscript proposes a tribute to Héctor Germán Oesterheld, the great Argentine scriptwriter, creator of El Eternauta and other comic strip classics, who disappeared in the last dictatorship. A tribute to the writer, the militant, the humanist, the man committed to his time. For this the authors turn to his work: the protagonist is Germán, the screenwriter of El Eternauta, alter ego of HGO, and the story relates, set within the author's own work, the last moments of his real life, his disappearance at the hands of the repressive forces of the dictatorship.
