Don and Mike are best friends. Both live in the sleepy town of Saltley and both like to watch birds. Their lives suddenly become exciting when Mike note two eagles in a nearby lake. The boys decide to protect the birds so they can make a nest. But when Mr. Roberts shows interest in birds the boys become suspects.
