In 1979 Buenos Aires, famous comic artists Hugo Pratt and Jean Giraud (Moebius) arrive for a comics convention. When their friend Opi disappears from the hospital, they hire private detective Julio Etchenike to investigate. Etchenike becomes entangled in a complex fraud scheme involving police, military, intelligence services, artists, publishers, and others during a turbulent period in Argentine history. What begins as a detective story evolves into a vivid portrayal of Argentine society and culture.
